Brunswick Corporation, the parent company of well-known brands such as Boston Whaler, SeaRay and Veer, has introduced a new line of boats called Navan. According to Brunswick President Aine Denari, Navan was created to meet the evolving and previously unmet needs of families and recreational boaters who want premium, adventure-ready vessels that don’t compromise on comfort or safety.

The Navan series launches with two distinct 30-foot models: the C30 and the S30. Both boats are engineered around a twin-step hull design, which Brunswick says improves stability, enhances fuel efficiency during cruising, and delivers softer landings at high speeds—an important safety and comfort benefit for families traveling with young children or for those who frequently encounter choppy conditions.

The C30 is positioned as a versatile cruiser suited for daytime exploration, overnight stays and handling adverse weather. With an overall length of about 33 feet, the C30 offers family-friendly amenities including a large bow sun lounger, three sleeping berths, a convertible dinette and an interior galley. An electric grill is standard, expanding the onboard entertaining and dining options. The cockpit layout includes seating aft of the helm that can be rotated forward for cruising or turned backward to create a sociable entertainment area. Denari highlights the cabin’s large windows and a fully opening rear window that create an open, airy feel—features designed to enhance onboard entertaining and comfort. The C30 comes with a hardtop and a comprehensive selection of standard systems: Simrad electronics, dual digital dashboard displays, air conditioning and additional conveniences aimed at extended comfort.

The S30 is the sportier, open-air counterpart to the C30. It shares many of the same core features but adopts a more performance-oriented layout with an open T-top. The T-top includes a removable rocket launcher and rod holders, appealing to anglers or owners who want flexibility for fishing or sport boating. The S30’s cockpit is tailored to active use, featuring a bait-preparation station and a simplified belowdecks configuration with two berths and a single head. Owners who prefer light cruising without a full galley will appreciate the S30’s streamlined interior. Optional upgrades for the S30 include an electric grill or stove, an ice box, fresh-water shower and entertainment upgrades such as TVs.

Both the C30 and S30 offer a range of outboard power options to suit different performance preferences. Single-outboard choices include a 300-hp Mercury V8 Verado or a 400-hp Mercury V10 Verado. For owners preferring twin installations, options include twin 225-hp Mercury V6 engines; twin 250-hp Mercury V8 Verados (available with optional joystick control); or twin 300-hp V8 Verados, also available with optional joystick control. These power choices give buyers flexibility to prioritize fuel efficiency, cruising comfort, or higher-speed performance depending on their intended use.

Brunswick frames Navan as a solution for families who want to adventure confidently—offering safety, performance and the refinements expected in a premium boat. The combination of twin-step hull technology, thoughtful cockpit and cabin arrangements, and a range of power and option packages aims to deliver both the capability of a true adventure boat and the creature comforts that make family outings relaxing and enjoyable.

Navan’s debut in the U.S. market was scheduled for the 2024 Miami International Boat Show in February, where the models were expected to be showcased to the public and industry buyers. For those evaluating new family-oriented boats, the C30 and S30 present two distinct philosophies in a single series: the C30 for comfortable cruising and overnighting, and the S30 for open-air sport and fishing versatility.
