Brunswick Launches Navan: A New Line of Luxury Adventure Boats

Brunswick, already known for building an extensive portfolio of boat brands, has entered the growing adventure-boat segment with its own new marque: Navan. Unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival, Navan introduces a pair of purpose-built models that blend Scandinavian-inspired design with Brunswick’s manufacturing scale and engineering.

The debut Navan models are the C30, a cabin version, and the S30, an open bow/cuddy layout. Both models will make their U.S. debut at the Miami International Boat Show in February, marking Brunswick’s entrance into a market increasingly defined by versatile, family-friendly day boats that can handle a variety of activities.

“What we identified as more of an unmet need was really also more stability in the boat and also more of a family functionality,” said Aine Denari, President of Brunswick Boat Group. “So a bigger cabin and more space for entertainment.” This focus on stability and onboard versatility guided the Navan design, which emphasizes comfortable social spaces and practical amenities for day cruising, watersports and coastal cruising.

Stylistically, Navan boats echo the clean, functional lines popularized by Scandinavian adventure brands. Both the C30 and S30 feature a plumb bow, a walkaround deckhouse, a hardtop with a sunroof and a double-stepped hull tuned for outboard power. The hull form aims to deliver improved ride comfort and efficient planing across a range of sea conditions, while the deck layouts prioritize ease of movement and safe access around the boat.

The C30 cabin variant includes a well-appointed forward double berth and an enclosed head, providing overnight capability for short cruises. Practical details include easy side-deck access, and a compact galley equipped with an electric grill, sink and stove—sufficient for preparing meals while underway. The cabin layout is designed to support family outings where flexible accommodation and protection from the elements are important.

The S30 open model shares much of the same architecture but emphasizes an open, social cockpit. One standout feature highlighted by Denari is the convertible aft helm seating that can face forward for transit or flip to face aft for socializing. When the seat is reversed, the integrated grill and sink turn the cockpit into a comfortable entertainment area that can seat six people facing each other, making it ideal for relaxed gatherings on the water.

Power options for Navan are focused exclusively on modern outboard propulsion, with several Mercury configurations available to match owner preferences and intended use. Buyers can choose a single 300-hp or single 400-hp Mercury outboard, or twin-outboard setups of two 225-hp or two 300-hp Mercury engines. These choices allow owners to balance speed, range and fuel consumption according to their boating style.
