North Pacific Yachts Unveils NP49 Pilothouse Euro and NP44 Sedan Wide-Body for Fall Release

North Pacific Yachts has confirmed it will expand its lineup this fall with two new variants of existing models: the NP49 Pilothouse Euro and a wide-body version of the NP44 Sedan. Both introductions build on proven platforms while emphasizing improved interior volume, contemporary styling, and enhanced onboard comfort for owners who want a more modern look and feel without sacrificing the seaworthiness and practical layout options these models are known for.
NP49 Pilothouse Euro: Contemporary Styling and Flexible Layouts
The NP49 Pilothouse Euro introduces a refreshed exterior and interior aesthetic aimed at owners seeking a contemporary, European-influenced appearance. The Euro version emphasizes a cleaner, more modern salon design and incorporates larger windows throughout the main deck to maximize natural light and views. The expanded glazing contributes to a brighter, airier interior and a stronger connection between the salon and the surrounding environment.
Owners of the NP49 Pilothouse Euro will retain flexibility in cabin arrangements. The new offering allows buyers to choose the original two- or three-stateroom layouts or opt for a new amidships master configuration. These options make it easier to tailor the yacht for extended cruising, family use, or hosting guests, while still preserving the core features that have made the NP49 popular.
On the performance side, the NP49 Pilothouse Euro offers a twin-engine option that raises the boat’s top-end speed to roughly 21 knots. This power choice gives owners greater capability for covering distances more quickly while maintaining efficient cruising performance at lower speeds. The general pilothouse layout continues to provide a protected helm, good sightlines, and comfortable command-center ergonomics for long passages or coastal cruising.

NP44 Sedan Wide-Body: Added Interior Space and Improved Flow
The NP44 Sedan wide-body variant focuses on increasing interior volume and improving movement through the yacht. By removing the portside walkaround deck, the wide-body version adds approximately 18 inches to the salon, creating a noticeably roomier living area. That extra beam in the main cabin can be used to expand seating arrangements, broaden passageways, or enhance storage and lounging space—features that make time aboard more comfortable for owners and guests alike.
Another notable refinement on the NP44 wide-body is the integration of an FRP staircase from the cockpit up to the flybridge. Replacing ladder-style or temporary steps with a molded, integrated staircase improves safety, convenience, and aesthetics when moving between decks. The integrated staircase also contributes to a cleaner, more cohesive exterior profile while making the flybridge easier to access during social moments or when underway.
What This Means for Buyers
These new variants are designed to appeal to owners who want the familiar strengths of North Pacific Yachts—solid construction, practical layouts, and reliable systems—while adding a more contemporary presentation and greater interior comfort. The NP49 Pilothouse Euro answers demand for modern styling and flexible cabin choices, and the NP44 Sedan wide-body addresses owners prioritizing interior volume and ease of movement between decks.
Both introductions reflect a trend in yacht design toward maximizing liveable space and daylight, and toward delivering options that let buyers personalize how they use their boat—whether for extended cruising, entertaining, or weekend escapes. With the fall release, prospective buyers and dealers should expect new brochures and specification sheets from North Pacific Yachts detailing standard equipment and available options for each variant.
