Quarken 35 T-Top: Sporty Open-Deck Version of the Quarken 35
Quarken of Finland has added a new model to its lineup: the Quarken 35 T-Top. Based on the successful Quarken 35 Cabin, the 35 T-Top trades the enclosed pilothouse for an open main deck and a streamlined T-top, delivering a more athletic look and a lively on-water experience ideal for day boating and watersports.

Dimensions and Performance
Measuring 35 feet in length with an 11-foot 4-inch beam and a shallow 3-foot 3-inch draft, the 35 T-Top is designed to combine stability with responsive handling. The model comes standard with twin Yamaha 300-horsepower outboards, which Quarken reports deliver a top speed in the neighborhood of 44 knots. These engines are paired with Yamaha’s Helm Master system for enhanced control and maneuverability in close quarters and at the dock.
Helm and Electronics
The center helm is laid out for comfortable, focused operation. A large glass windshield provides good forward visibility, while a roomy double helm seat keeps the skipper and companion comfortable during longer runs. Electronics include twin Garmin 12-inch touchscreen displays, offering integrated charting, radar and engine data in a clear, modern presentation.

Deck Layout and Passenger Comfort
The 35 T-Top emphasizes social space and flexible seating for family outings and active days on the water. Notable arrangements include:
- A generous sunpad at the bow for lounging and sunbathing.
- An L-shaped settee amidships that creates a comfortable cockpit lounge area.
- A sunbed in the cockpit with flip-up backrests to convert it into forward or aft-facing seating depending on the situation.
- Two built-in boarding gates integrated into the gunwales that act as convenient swim platforms and make boarding from the water simple.
These seating options make the boat well-suited to day trips, entertaining, and watersports, while the open deck and T-top give it an accessible, sporty feel.
Belowdecks Cabin
Although the 35 T-Top favors an open layout above, the belowdecks cabin remains functional and comfortable for short overnight stays. The accommodation includes a double berth, an enclosed head for privacy and convenience, and a sofa that converts into a daybed appropriate for children or short naps. The layout provides practical shelter and overnight capability without sacrificing the boat’s day-boat character.
Launch Schedule
Quarken has indicated the 35 T-Top will make its public debut in the fall season. The company specifically plans to show the model at the Cannes event in September 2024, giving interested buyers and media a first look at the new configuration and its features.
Why Choose the 35 T-Top
The Quarken 35 T-Top will appeal to owners who want a versatile day boat with strong performance, modern helm technology, and flexible social spaces. It preserves key elements of the Quarken 35 Cabin—such as the efficient hull form and comfortable belowdecks accommodation—while offering a more open and sporty aesthetic that suits summer cruising, watersports and active coastal use.
